Neogen at the 2017 annual AOAC meeting

The 2017 AOAC meeting is coming up, and Neogen will be there, showing posters on some of its latest research in the area of food safety solutions.

What do we have in store?

Neogen will be exhibiting six research posters on the following topics, ranging from finding dairy antibiotics in milk to the value provided by genomics in food safety:

  • 16s metagenomics to help find point source contamination of food products
  • Rapid Salmonella serotyping via targeted amplicon sequencing
  • Validating BetaStar® Advanced for detecting beta-lactams in bulk tank and tanker truck milks
  • Validating BetaStar® Advanced for detecting tetracyclines in bulk tank and tanker truck milks
  • Validating the MAX aqueous extraction for Reveal Q+ MAX for Ochratoxin, a lateral flow test kit
  • Detecting Listeria on environmental surfaces without enrichment
