University of Kentucky to host International Conference on Equine Infectious Diseases

Want to learn more about equine infectious diseases? Check out the 9th International Conference on Equine Infectious Diseases in October.

The five day conference, hosted by the University of Kentucky’s Maxwell H. Gluck Equine Research Center, will feature sessions on parasitic and infectious diseases as well as presentations on diagnostics, immunology and disease agents.

There also will be a Practitioner’s Day Oct. 21 that will highlight the most significant information presented during the conference, according to TheHorse.com.

It is the second time the conference has been hosted in Lexington, Ky.
